A hot tub should be serviced weekly. The chemistry levels fluctuate quickly, so making sure the chemistry is correct will ensure a safe and relaxing experience.
The cartridge filter should be inspected weekly and hosed down using a nozzle on the end of the water hose. The cartridge filter should be replaced every 12-18 months.
The spa cover should be maintenanced weekly. I recommend spraying and wiping down the cover, and adding a layer of protectant such as Aerospace Protectant 303.
The water should be drained every 3-4 months. Reasons to drain the water: increase in chemicals to balance chemistry, visible foam and scum build up, and discoloration.
The equipment should be inspected before each flush or every other flush. If there happens to be a leak, the best time to repair the leak is when the water is drained. We want to minimize draining and filling if possible.
Standard Mode-System will circulate during set run times and anytime the temperature is below the desired temperature setting. Having a quality cover will help keep the heat from dropping. A crack, gap, or tear within the cover may increase the amount of times the system runs.
- Rinse before each use.
- Use the same bathing suit, do not wash.
- No lotions and potions (hair products, hygiene products, make-up, etc…)
